J2L Events is formed of the following core personnel, who offer more than 50 years collective experience in the events management field.

Jeremy Garrett – PRESIDENT & PROGRAMMING DIRECTOR
Jeremy is responsible for ensuring that J2L Events runs smoothly and efficiently, and will be the direct liaison for administrative issues including payment. He also takes on the role of Programming Director to create appropriate content relating to consumer and trade attendees. Jeremy has 15+ years direct experience in the travel and tourism industry, including his own tourism consulting company NaTour Communications, which works in the development, marketing and promotion of sustainable tourism destinations and products.

Liesl Robinson, CEM – VICE PRESIDENT & SHOW DIRECTOR
As Show Director, Liesl oversees all aspects of the events - including contract negotiation, site selection, managing vendors and general service contractor, logistical setup, managing booth sales and exhibitor needs, and fulfilling sponsor obligations. She will serve as the main contact to ensure all Expo activities are completed effectively and efficiently. Liesl has 10 years experience in event management and sales.

Joe Pymm – TECHNOLOGY DIRECTOR
Joe oversees the crucial web component of the events we manage. Through both consultation and hands-on approach, Joe handles the creation, development and updating of the official event websites. Joe also manages the development of promotional email campaigns, online advertising and social networking used to attract potential sponsors and exhibitors, as well as consumer and trade attendees. He follows up the promotional work by ensuring effective pre- and on-site attendee registration.

Rich Ryan, CEM – SALES DIRECTOR
Rich is our Sales Director and sells sponsorships and exhibitor booths – talking with former exhibitors, following up on leads provided by the client and the rest of the team, and forwarding sales information to the Show Director, who has ultimate oversight. Rich holds Certified in Exhibition Management (CEM) designation and 23 years of sales experience, including selling exhibit space and sponsorships for two national trade associations and one state association. He also has sold advertising space for 37 CBS affiliate TV stations and several trade magazines. Rich’s sales team include a telemarketer to conduct sales calls.

Shelley Carter – SALES ASSISTANT AND ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Shelley assists both the Show Director and Sales Director as necessary, as well as sells Exhibitor booths. Shelley has 12 years product sales experience, which include telephone sales and group presentations. Shelley additionally has six years clerical and administrative assistance experience supporting a hotel design firm of 30 employees.
